APARTMENT in BARI 2004
A project based on a rigorous and functional plan.
The renovation has been radical and complete: walls and furniture have been tailor made designed, choosing also design pieces from the market; everything to satisfy a thorough client interested in contemporary art and fashion.
In the centre of the living there are book shelves suspended on a pillar, around which we have designed a low furniture -for hi-fi and television – in dark wood with steel details.
Behind television there is a sheet of grey glass that filters the light reflected by the mirrored doors of a wardrobe inset in a niche behind it.
On the wall in the background there is an English made wall paper with a grey-silver arabesque pattern. We designed some furniture with integrated lighting -and adjustable intensity- to create atmospheres in combination with Verner Panton’s hanging lamps and with Magistretti’s black Atollo lamp.
In the kitchen black polished floor and bright white cupboards are matched with clear woods of the column containing the flat television; in front of it there are some art pieces on a silver decorated wall and a Zanotta red glass table with Kartell/Starck chairs around.
In the master bedroom a big furniture -decorated with coloured glasses and polished brass sheets-hides a wardrobe, a walking closet and television. On the bed sides we designed small drawers suspended on the wall and lighted with hanging glass lamps by Danese.
Master bathroom has rounded shapes covered by Bisazza bronze colour mosaic, matched with white greek marble, maple wood bespoke furniture and an old Maria Teresa d’Austria’s style crystal chandelier.
